DIY Galaxy Print Shoes

Materials:
Plain shoes/old shoes
Acrylic paint (assorted colours)
Paint brushes
Masking Tape
Water
Sponge
Toothpicks
Glitter
Glue
Scotchguard / water-proofer


Steps:
Gather materials

NOTE: tape the base of the shoe with masking tape if possible, you can use black paint at a later stage if the tape wont stick

Paint in sections, using a 'dab' action, or sponge to spread
Begin with base colour (blue) then add purple and white to finish
Be as messy as you want :)

Add stars using a thin paint brush or toothpick
Add smaller stars (dots) with toothpick, scattered around darker areas of the shoe
'Splatter' with watered down paint and a brush or by using a spray bottle
Add glitter with glue
Use a water-proof spray (scotchguard)

Done!

Also revamping my sisters old chucks with this same technique, will post photos when finished!

NYE Makeup Tutorial, Video

I have been meaning to film a makeup tutorial for quite a while, it was pretty hard to get this as I used a makeshift tripod (a box) and I have a small digital camera so the audio/visual quality is preeeeetty average! Anywho...

This video will show you how to do a fairly easy and fun look for NYE or a party. This can be achieved without fancy brushes or super expensive products. This is pretty much your typical smokey eye with blue as a substitute. Glitter is your best friend, go wild and have fun!
