I am quite a fan of Rubi Shoes and these boots are no exception. I love the chunky heel, fringe embellishment on the zipper and the amazing Apricot colour. Can you believe that they are comfortable? The insole feels like rubber and are therefore quite comfortable and although the heel height is 10cm they are the perfect everyday winter boot.

Even though the Apricot colour was gorgeous I decided to go with the black for ease of wear, these are perfect with jeans and go nicely with stockings too. A definate must for all you shoe lovers out there.

Shoe Revamp - Glitter Chucks

First up, I thought I would show you where I have been...

I finally finished my huge assessment! Wooooo!

Right down to business, I am on a bit of a glitter obsession... and I used to love Converse. But these were a bit worse for wear and as they were brown it was a bit of an odd colour to match. I decided to revamp these after I saw a girl wearing glitter covered runners! My original plan was to use fine glitter all over the shoe, but after a coat of paint I decided that this look would be more everyday appropriate. The best bit about this shoe choice is that they are canvas, therefore the perfect option for paints. Check it out, DIY Glitter Converse!

What you need;

Masking tape

Paint Brushes (Medium and small)

Black Acrylic paint

Gliter Paint

Fine Glitter/Glue (Optional)

Oh my, how the time fly's!

Ive been very slack lately, but super busy with Uni assignments and work! In 2 weeks my final assignment for Uni will be done and hopefully I will get back to some more regular posting!

I've gone on a bit of a shoe frenzy. A huge warehouse sale was to blame, and although I bought a gazillion shoes I only spent $200 ... ish... but got about 12 pairs, including some suede... I think thats good... right? Oh well.

Can you spot something familar? I found a pair of suede booties similar to the Dolce Vita, Jemma and Wittner, Saphite. These were half the price at $59.95!

BYS Two Tone Nailpolish

My sister told me about this awesome nail polish, and not that I need another one, I went down to Kmart and bought one for $4. This BYS Colour Change Nailpolish is so clever, think mood rings but for your nails! I bought the 'Glitter Purple' as the colour chart showed the most change.

This polish changes with heat from a mid blue/purple to pale purple (not quite what it states on the bottle) but still super cool! Right now I can tell you its turned a sort of ombre tone on my nails, dark on top and lighter towards the bottom, pretty snazzy that your nail colour can change throughout the day. This comes in a variety of colours and is available from Kmart for a very affordable $4

DIY Millinery

I know this is a bit of a different post but...
As part of my course this year I am studying Millinery, and I love what I came up with for our wirework so I thought I would share it with you guys! I love the fantasy element of this design. Its a two way design, and secured to the head by pins. It is made from a wire frame covered with tulle, fake flowers, beads, lace, craft wire, stick and even coca cola cans!

18 !

So finally the big 18! A week ago I had my 18th Birthday, yay!

You might notice that my photos seem clearer and well, much better than before! Thats because I got a beautiful new Canon camera from one of my closest friends. Hopefully we will have some better shots and some new videos soon.
