Chic vs. Cheap

I'm sure you have seen these Jeffrey Campbell Mariel wedges, they became so popular they are available in every colour! But this design was inspired by the beautiful Dolce and Gabbana Suede Slingback Wedge.

After enviously staring at the price tag I spotted these babies on Wholesale-dress.net, I loved this design much more than the Mariel wedge as the straps went all the way down to the sole. After seeing this, they popped up everywhere, Aldo, Rubi, Sportsgirl all with very slight variations. Let me know if you find any more!

I would love the get the original D&G wedges... but not for the $600 price tag!

Solestruck - Contest Entry

So after browsing the Solestruck blog and looooooonnnging for some devine shoes I decided to try my luck and enter the competition - All I want for Christmas is Shoes; NYE Edition. Basically you had to come up with an image/concept that details your NYE look, I eventually decided on a video! I saw this post yesterday and realised I had one day until the deadline, so after spending the scorching summer day at my friends house in the pool I rushed home to work on my entry... oh by the way, the winner gets a free pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes :D
